Yay for today!!!
Today's Activity: We're starting to wrap up our poetry unit- let's do it with a well-known piece by Poe, "The Raven!" This poem is often noted for its musicality, stylized language, and supernatural atmosphere. It tells of a talking raven's mysterious visit to a distraught lover, tracing the man's slow fall into madness...typical Poe, amirite? :-)
Homework: The Raven Handout
We're also going to discuss the assessment for the poetry unit. Poetry Unit Assessment due December 21st and 22nd.
