WELCOME BACK A Day!!!!!

Be sure to join us on Google Meet during our designated class period.

Today's Activity: I read an INCREDIBLE book over break and I thought you all would like to read it as well. Fresh Ink is an anthology of short stories by an incredible array of YA authors writing on everything from LGBTQ struggles, situational issues with families, friends, and so much more. These are the topics a lot of authors avoid, yet here we have a whole book of them. Told with hopeful narratives to heartbreaking ones, this book is a celebration of difference, empathy, acceptance, and living one’s truth.

We're going to cover this book together but slightly different. :-) I've divided the book into sections. For each section, you will have to complete a dialectical journal (detailed instructions attached here!) Today's section is called Eraser Tattoo.

Once we're done with the book, you will have a small project to complete. :-) But we can focus on that more later!
