Hope you all enjoyed the snow day!
We will be picking up with our schedule and having our test on Act 2 of Macbeth on Tuesday, February 4th. From there we will go over the HSPA test you will be taking in March. Remember this test is crucial- you must pass it to graduate. I will provide you with a bunch of test taking tips and give you plenty of practice!
Then we dive into Act 3! After his first confrontation with the witches, Macbeth worried that he would have to commit a murder to gain the Scottish crown. He seems to have gotten used to the idea hasn't he?! Now that the first part of the witches’ prophecy has come true, Macbeth feels that his friend Banquo and his son Fleance are the greatest threats to his crown and must be "taken care of". Maybe they'll get a visit from some men in suits carrying violin cases. :-)
